Our region has been at the forefront of occupational safety and health for 100 years with industry leaders in manufacturing, mining, construction and services. With our region’s energy reserves, natural gas extraction has become a major regional industry, thereby adding to the diversity of our safety and health careers. Our regional outlook and opportunities for careers in occupational safety and health is expected to grow.
Since MASHA was established in 2007, it has been our pleasure to offer an annual conference in western Pennsylvania with educational opportunities reflective of our diversity in occupational safety and health.
